Me and my girlfriend stayed here on valentines day and had a lovely time we stayed in a suite ( number 4) and it was excellent great bed beautiful bathroom and a separate living room. The bar was good and the restaurant was even better food glorious and great service. The breakfast the following morning was very good and rounded off what was a very enjoyable stay. The only negative thing was the tables in the restaurant were very close together. Which wasn't too bad as we were next to another lovely and friendly couple. Would highly recommend this great hotel.

Room tip: Suite number 4 great size.

Having read 2 recent reviews we decided to chance this hotel, even though I really didn't think it would deliver all it was offering for the price. However, the description was absolutely accurate.
It is a country hotel, less than a 10 minute walk into Newmarket. We stayed for 1 night to visit Cambridge and Bury.
It is beautifully kept - spotless with modern, smart decor throughout.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We found it on a par with more expensive hotels we have stayed in; it seems really well managed and thought out. There are too many small details to mention, all of which made it exceptional, here are some:
Sensible safe position- waist level in pullout drawer
Free wifi throughout
Good tea/coffee with caffetiere & teapot, homemade biscuits
Free Hildon water in fridge
Air conditioning, thick towels and more.....
We had breakfast which was lovely.

The only criticism I could make is the public areas are rather small - perfectly fine when we stayed but possibly rather busy when the hotel is full, but don't know how full it was when we stayed.

Fab place will return and recommend.

Room tip: Superior rooms have super king beds and separate bath and shower.

I was here on a business meeting, and stayed in this hotel. Hotel has very nice front garden and also backyard is beautiful. Hotel seems to be ideal for horse racers as well, but it was also perfect for business stay. Food is okay, I have not tried wellness and spa area.
