Its a lovely place to stay, It has a pretty garden with some courtroom suites which are large and well acquired. We had a party in the large conservatory and the food was good and there was plenty for everyone.
The staff are friendly and helpful and its got free parking and its quite close to town

Room Tip: Lots of free parking, close to town and A11/A14 Rooms are good size and comfortable, staff are grea...

It poured with rain for our two night visit and staying in their Garden room meant we needed the brolly for breakfast. The room and shower room was clean and warm had all the usual amenities for a comfortable stay. However, we would have appreciated some bedside rugs on the tiled floor, it being nearly winter.

The wall separating our room from the next was thin, however, and I had to bang on it to get our neighbour to turn off his TV at 3:45 am the first night.

The staff were charming and helpful, the cooked breakfast (by the owner) fresh and non greasy.

In all, reasonable value but not exceptional.

We booked the Main Hotel Rooms, which comprises of a delightful Conservatory Style Room, which forms the Resturant area, the view from here goes out onto a wonderful Garden, prior to this is an fabulous patio area, which would be ideal in the summer months! The Conference Room behind this was just right to situate the Buffet and the room next to the Bar was perfect for the disco.
Buffet food was spot on for our occasion, a mxture to suit both adults and young children. Bar prices were good, staff all over the Hotel very accomodating and we had a fantastic time. Now looking to hold a Casino Night here in 2014!

Stayed as a family group. Used the family rooms which are separate to the main hotel. Decently sized rooms with enough room for a double and single bed. Modern en suite was a shower ..no bath if that's a requirement for you. Tea/coffee in room. Good storage for clothes etc. Rooms were clean.. some hard water scaling on the shower head. Did hear some television noise from the neighbouring room but not excessive.

Dined in the hotel for the evening and breakfast. Food was of a good standard with a decent choice and well cooked. Breakfast was the usual.... cereals, fruit juices and then the traditional English. Staff friendly.
Nice garden for the kids to run around in.
Overall a very pleasant stay

This is the second time I & friends have stayed here. Last year we had rooms in the main hotel & they were great. This year we had The Garden Rooms and very pleased with them. Modern decor & interior with tiled walls and tiled floors throughout the room. Excellent shower room & very clean. Freshly cooked to order breakfast and staff very welcoming, as last year. We will definately be booking next year for our "racing weekend".

Room Tip: Garden Room 1 & 2 face the main garden & have their own garden seating & I understand ro...

We decided to have our engagement party at the Rosery and it was fantastic from start to finish. They catered for 75 of us with BBQ style food that had everyone saying how good it was. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure it was the perfect afternoon/evening. I would whole heartedly recommend the Rosery massive thumbs up!!!

I booked it via late rooms and read the reviews on Trip Adviser. I was disappointed in that I was expecting a character hotel and got run down Blackpool B&B. The hotel is in urgent need of some TLC and I am unable to give it a recommendation. The main light in the room flickered on and off. The tea making facilities in the room left a film on the tea which we couldn't drink and I feel that the hotel is on its last legs. I expected more for £80 for a double room.

Room Tip: Try another hotel.

The room Griff stayed in was room 10 and normally scores high on customer reviews. We thank him for his remarks and have replaced the light switch in that room as far as TLC we are constantly working on the Hotel and that room is to be refurbished in the next few weeks for the third time since we purchased the Hotel back in 2003
