First of all the staff are great especially Jill the manager who booked us in . Hope that was her name anyway . Slim blonde lady with glasses . The hotel is in a good location breakfast very good room was nice and the bed was very comfortable . Only downside was the music in the pub was loud and went on till 2 am and kept the wife awake till then . Then the club kicked out at about 330 and seemed to have kicked off that's when I woke up . Not the white harts fault . Then at 5.00 a street cleaning lorry up and down making a right racket till 6 then we got to sleep . On the whole I enjoyed it lol . Just beware of the music . Top tip take some earplugs

What a great place to stay the staff here really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We stayed on a race night as we were going to the races we tried to book a taxi but to no avail. The manager seeing our prdicament said he would run us out to the course and pick us up after the meeting had finished about 10.30pm and he did. We thought this was well above expectation what a wonderful man, with fantastic staff.
The room was good as was the service in the bar and restaurant. The only slight downside was the noise from the group but we were aware of this before we booked also we had a bottle of champagne that the manager gave me for my 70th birthday.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear of the hotel are quiter.

We stop here on a sunday night so there was only me and my wife staying that night. They upgraded us to the best room they had free of charge. The room was nicely decorated and large bathroom. For a budget hotel the service was excellent. Once we checked in we went downstairs into the pub and had a lovely meal and because we was guests we had 20% off our bill. Having being the only guests in the hotel they still set out a full breakfast spread. I would consider returning.

By far one of the best places to eat in Newmarket. It is large, cosy and the food is relatively cheap and good. There is a car park at the side for ease and catch the various menu specials each day. Well worth walking the length of the High Street for.
