If you want something a little different then give this a try. Beautiful surroundings and easy access into town and a short trip by train into London. At the time of staying accommodation was basic but more than suited our needs. Thom was an accommodating host and made the whole process through booking to checking in to checking out an easy experience. Village pub literally a minute walk away was great and would define recommend for a meal. Small village store handy but slightly pricy.
Overall very very happy we booked and would definitely use again if visiting the area.
Location is great, local walks on hand from the front door,
great village pub dog friendly very welcoming.
Owners very help full, cottages have everything you need lovely wood burner, self catering equipment if needed.
Will return again when in the area.
Thank you for lovely stay.
We had a magical time at Crockers. Everyone was lovely, the converted stable was clean, comfortable, cosy & warm. The surroundings were stunning and all in all, we had a wonderful time. We are a family of four, both children are under 10. To say they loved it at Crockers is an understatement. We'd go back again and again. A truly great stay.
Myself and four friends stayed the weekend of the Denbies Wine Estate Half Marathon. The location is picturesque, the accommodation is warm and rustic, the price is very reasonable.
The cottage is not far from London, in a very beautiful environment. The cottage is simple but cheerful, and Thom is a great host.
