I have tried on numerous occasions to stay at Leylands but had been unsuccessful until last weekend. Both my husband and I have stayed in all sorts of accommodation all over the UK and this rates right up amongst the very best. Homely, welcoming but enabling you to be as private as you wish. If you are looking for excellent accommodation, in a beautiful setting, great hosts who have thought of everything to ensure a memorable stay then this is the place for you. 5 star rating from us!

We were on a six week walking trip through the UK and Europe, and Leylands Farm was very close to the Greensand Way and Leith Hill Tower, so we booked a night online... did not really know what to expect as some accommodation had been a bit sad... but our day at Leylands Farm was absolutely fantastic. It has set a new standard by which we now judge all our accommodation, and after six weeks walking there has been nothing to match or surpass Leylands Farm. Our thanks, and sincere congratulations for your hospitality, wonderful accommodation, and magical gardens.

After a hard day of walking-rambling-trekking, Leylands Farm is top shelf!

Room Tip: Only one room so no choice, but it is certainly excellent!

Our objective was to celebrate The May day in a memorable and romantic place and to explore the area around Leith Hill. Finding Leylands Farm was a stroke of good luck, because it ticks all the boxes: it is romantic, in the middle of the woods and it is beautiful. The service and the amenities make it memorable as well. It was lovely, after roaming around the Leith, Holmbury and Pitch Hills, to come "home" to a glass of sherry, pot of tea, delicious fruit cake and a wood burning stove. It is a very relaxed and relaxing place; walking around the gardens, listening to the happy chickens (whose eggs you might like to cook for breakfast) watching the flight of the white doves and the activity of the busy bees, looking at the healthy geraniums in the conservatory- it is all very therapeutic . There are some interesting pubs nearby to dine in and then return to the farm to finish the day with a bottle of wine and some music or a game of Scrabble or a book. Anne is a wonderful hostess and we felt very happy to find such a welcoming place.

My Wife & I spent two days of our "Minimoon" at Leylands Farm deep in the Surrey Hills. Right from the start we where both bowled over by the beauty and tranquility of Leylands Farm.

I have to say that Anne was the perfect host who has perfected that sometimes difficult to achieve cocktail of being welcoming, friendly and helpful but never intrusive and allowing us to wander freely around her lovely gardens at leisure.

It was a pleasure to meet her and to stay at her lovely home and I have no doubt that we will both be visiting Leylands Farm again.

This was our third visit to Leylands Farm. It is such a lovely place to stay for a weekend that we just want to keep on coming back. There is some lovely walking in the area and the house is very comfortable. Anne is a great host and there are always lots of little treats left for us.

Room Tip: There's only one room. So it's lovely and private!

we stayed at leylands farm for a night in August as we were at a family wedding in the area The property and the gardens that surround it are just stunning and the host very welcoming. The accommodation is great for a family of four as there is a double bedroom upstairs and downstairs Anne put down a bed for one of our kids and for the other she made up a bed on the large sofa. The accommodation is an annexe adjoining the main house so is very private, which is great when you are staying as a family. Only one minor disappointment - we though tor the price we would be getting a cooked breakfast and were really looking forward to having one - but the breakfast is continental - there is a friddge in the accommodation with yoghurts, milk etc and a toaster so you make your own toast/jam. I just felt that for what we paid, a cooked breakfast may have been included. Also, it was quite a chilly August night, and when we awoke the annexe was really, really chilly - but luckily there was a halogen heater which heated the downstairs up quite quickly. This is a lovely place to go to despite this though.

We are so pleased to have found Leylands Farm and coming home each afternoon after visiting some of the many lovely villages throughout Surrey was an experience on its own.Through the gates and into our house with such lovely gardens made each day even more enjoyable. Thankyou Anne for your care and attention during our six nights at Leylands.
