My wife and father in law stayed for two nights whilst touring the highlands. They loved their stay. It was cean and fiendly. The owner was exceptionally organised and helpful with ideas for things to do. I was very happy when on discovering my wife had left her phone there he posted it back to use straight away and wouldn't except payment- thats what I call going above and beyond! Exceptional!

This was my first trip to Mayfield, but I'm sure it won't be my last, Michael made me very welcome straight away and the offer of Coffee and cake was very welcome after a long journey. The facilities here are faultless, everything is spotless and well maintained. Breakfasts were superb, best bacon and sausage I've had in a long time!
Michael made everyone feel at home and shared his wealth of local knowledge with us, he recommended several restaurants in the area, I tried the 'Lochy' not far away at Caol and was not dissapointed, good food and good value.
Overall, very, very highly recommended

Lovely B&B. We booked a double room with ensuite bathroom for one night with a full breakfast each, for 50 pounds in total (2 adults).

The house is lovely, nice gardens and plenty of parking. It is in Torlundy, which has only a few houses. So silent ! Peace !

A great night's sleep. We were getting up at 5am to climb Ben Nevis and the owners (Jean and James Weir) even offered to get up and make us coffees and toast. We declined their kind offer as we felt too guilty to make them get up at that time in the morning, but how lovely are they ?!! Never been anywhere else where someone would get up at that ungodly hour to give you your brekkie, bless 'em !

Highly recommended to all.
We will definitely be back when we're in that part of the country again.

We stayed one night on our journey up north. We were made very welcome on arrival with tea and cakes (including a dairy free one for our lactose intolerant friends!) served in the lounge. Our double room (at the front) was very comfortable and quiet. Large, comfortable lounge available for guests. Good recommendations for eating out in the evening. Excellent cooked breakfast. Friendly and chatty host. Will stay there again on our next trip to that part of Scotland.

We would highly recommend this B & B. Michael made us feel at home and welcome from the moment we arrived.
The accomodation was lovely , attractive, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, best black pudding and porage that I have tried for a long time. The view from the dining room of Ben Nevis was also breathtaking.

Best of all though was the attention to detail, flowers on the table at breakfast, clean, soft sweet smelling towels, comfortable bed and many other nice touches. Michael also had time to chat and gave us good advice regarding local walks and restaurants etc.

We also enjoyed the lovely, quiet location.

Thanks very much Michael for ensuring that these few days were just perfect, we feel really relaxed and refreshed. The weather was also perfect and our fellow guests were lovely.
