My wife, small child & I stayed here for 1 night in July. Morag was a lovely lady & made you feel welcome. The room was fairly small but clean & adequate with the use of a shared bathroom which wasn't a problem for 1 night. Breakfast was good & a friendly experience. I can only compare it to staying at your nice old Scottish nan's house! Would visit again.

Stayed here for two nights in a room that could just accomodate the double bed. We shared the very neat and clean bathroom next door which was not a problem.
We felt that the picture shown on the website was not an accurate representation of this cottage as it appears much grander than it was.

Room Tip: Maybe the double room with ensuite would have been a better option but we did not have that choice as Morag was booked out.

My friends and I stayed here for one night and Morag was very warm and accommodating even though we arrived late in the evening. Even though there was only 3 of us, she was nice enough to get two rooms sorted for us (one with twin beds and the other with a double bed) and we even had our own bathroom to share between us. She made sure we were comfortable and was so kind to get breakfast ready for us in time for us to leave in the early morning! The rooms were spacious and warm and the cottage itself is tucked away in a corned with great scenery surrounding it! The breakfast selection was great as two of us are vegetarians and she was very lovely to have set everything up for us! I only wish we could have stayed longer here!

We loved our 1 night stay at Thistle. Morag was a gracious host who made us feel very comfortable and "at home" in an unknown place and town. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the attention to detail for every aspect was fantastic. The breakfast was one of the best we had so far in B&B's. Since we are vegetarians, the breakfast can be a challenge - but thanks to the lovely cooked fresh breakfast from Morag, we were full and could have probably skipped our lunch! Location wise - this is one of the best you can get close to Fort Williams, Road to the Isles, Ben Nevis or Glen Coe. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again! Thanks Morag!

Room Tip: As you climb up the stairs - take the room to your left. It has a good view of the Ben Nevis mountain ranges.
