We were there for one night when we went to the GLive theatre. This is a well presented hotel, with underground parking. Good location for the town centre. Clean, decent-sized room with plenty of drawer and hanging space. Comfortable bed and pillows. Reasonably quiet once the function downstairs had finished. Good decorations and unobtrusive air-conditioning. Good bathroom with separate, if bijou, shower. Soap and shampoo from dispensers (not our preference). Towels were clean but looked a bit grey and were thin. A bit too pricey to say good value for money. Attentive, genuinely welcoming and helpful staff. Overall, the only downside is that, in the bar and restaurant, a 12.5% service charge is added to every bill except breakfast. This is automatically added to your bill, but then shown as "optional". I don't mind a service charge, although I prefer to tip separately, but please don't add it to the bill and then call it optional! That aside, we would have no problem staying there again.
