The food has changed recently, no more unheated tuna melts and now some nice pasta dishes but are they really worth the nearly £10?

We called in for Sunday lunch when the sun was shining. What a lovely view out on the terrace overlooking the park and canal watching the narrowboats and canoes pass by.The food was very good (choice of roasts) with good veg and yorkshire pud and plenty gravy without having to ask for more.My wife said the sticky toffee pudding was the best ever.Staff were friendly and efficient and the Youngs bitter excellent! It's nice and cosy inside too with log burning stove. Will definately call again.

Did the walk along the river from Godalming to Guildford and popped in for a drink and some light lunch. Good selection of drinks and we had the pie of the day. Which was very nice in its own bowl with mash and vegetables in another bowl. Great to sit out side on the terrace and look down on the river and enjoy your meal and enjoy your drink in the sunshine..

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch on a beautiful day this weekend.

We were able to sit outside on the terrace - which was lovely - the only downside is you have to order from the bar if sat outside.

Food was done nicely - basically roasts and service was pretty good too.

All in all I'd certainly go back esp if it's a nice day.

Noted that they are v dog friendly too... so may bring hound next time!

What an ideal place to sit out and sup beer & down good pub food in the sun. The most relaxing atmosphere we have found. Its not local but we when we can we make a speacial trip out to enjoy a great few hours by the river. Great view of the river Wey and cant wait to get back there soon.
Only draw back its very popular and have to get there on opening time to get the best seats..
