Great location at the bottom of High Street. Good place for an asian inspired lunch before an afternoon of shopping on the cobble streets. Japanese, thai, indian and chinese flavours are infused into their noodle dishes. Hot soups are large and served with a wooden ladle. Yummy especially on a cold day. This location does not have sushi like the London location does.

I completely love this place. You can go in pretty much any time of day and get a really great, tasty meal.

The Edamame beans are my fave starter, but they do sometimes bring you those once you are already eating your main, which bugs me a little.

Their Goats Do Roam wine is a great accompaniment to most of the dishes.

Occasionally you do get sat right next to a loads of strangers and it's certainly not a place to go for a romantic meal for two, because it's always really busy! But that's a good sign!

We have been fans of Wagamama in the oats, but felt that the quality and portion sizes had gone down significantly in recent years. We decided to give the Guildford branch a try and were pleasantly surprised. My wife an I had chicken raisukaree which was very flavoursome and spicy - just as we like it. In addition our daughter ordered the wrong meal by mistake and a replacement was brought to us with no fuss or bother. All in all a very pleasant meal.

3 visits in the last 7 days and it was great every time. Tried one of the new additions to the menu, Chu Chee Curry and that's now a new favourite. Discovered the dessert Gyozas on Friday and they are amazing!
One other good thing, is that you never feel rushed to get the bill and leave. The staff are always happy to let you enjoy your meal, at your own pace and don't complain about bringing you more cups of the free green tea.

There is always a queue outside so we thought it must be good.
However- we wanted a starter but were told it would just come "as and when"- maybe first, maybe not. The squid ( which did come first ) was like Walkers french fry crisps- very close to inedible.Just plain bad.
The mains were not much better. One noodle dish you could describe as bland at best. One rice dish- very ,very poor value. Lots of rice and not much else.
Atmosphere is great in there. No idea why so many people go back.
