We went to Shahanaz after it had recently been refurbished. As we went in we were told to sit down and on the table in the so called bar area there was a plastic Tupperware box with wasabi nuts in for people to help themselves - not exactly the most inviting way to present nibbles!
We were not asked if we wanted a drink while we were waiting but were soon invited to a table. All the way through we had to prompt for service. Food was good value but quite bland and there was not much distinction between different dishes. plates were look warm and the bread was bordering on stale. We had to prompt for our table to be cleaned, only for it to be cleaned with 'mr muscle'.at the end we were asked if everything was okay and we pointed out our concerns only to be faced with none of it being acknowledged and the 'manager' arguing at the table that we should of complained earlier. Unfortunately this is not the first experience of poor service. the whole atmosphere was more like eating in a school canteen then in a restaurant.
Overall I would not recommend it for an evening out. you are better off going to the kebab van down the road!!!
