Had a relaxing stay. In the area for a concert.
Went to Saltwell Park few minutes walk away. Very pleasant experience and well kept park. Good cafe. Dylan was easy to contact if needed.

Fantastic place to stay
Our party of 3 ( my brother, Mum and I ) travelled in March to attend an appointment. We booked two nights and to say this was a lovely place would be an understatement!
Everything as described and photos don't do this place justice, a proper hidden gem.
Easy to find and excellent communication from Dylan the owner. A comprehensive folder left in the property for things to do/places to see and even local takeaway menus. I just wish we could've stayed longer but due to work commitments it was impossible.
I would definitely stay here again and would love to visit all the places which were thoughtfully brought to our attention, however we just didn't have time
The whole apartment was lovely I just wish we were there longer

Lovely appartment, everything needed for a small group in one nice charming place.
Great to have the extra space as we are a film company and have quite a lot of kit. The place was very nice, neat, and everything was smooth from check in to check out.
Many Thanks,
Ben.

Excellent rental
Stayed at Dockers Digs in March 2017. Located just inside of Gateshead and very close to Newcastle. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and all a decent size.
Dylan was excellent, we had no problems and would recommend and would stay again.

ideal base from which to base your visit to Tyneside
absolutely perfect little place and all exaclty as advertised; warm, cosy, nicely decorated, surprisingly quiet - flawless; no hesitation in recommending Docker's Digs to all and sundry, and fully intend to return next time we're up round that neck of the woods - job's a good'un !

Fabulous stay - Great & Ideal location
I stayed here on the 4th & 5th of March with three close friends. This apartment offered a comfortable and relaxing stay for all of us and was exactly what we were looking for. The cosy living space is good for unwinding with a great flat screen TV, the old fashioned furniture & surroundings really add a nice touch. I'd honestly recommend this to anyone, whether it's a weekend of shopping, either in the city centre or the metro centre, a sociable weekend out with friends, or even a quiet getaway.

Ideal base to explore Newcastle
This was a great place to stay - wow, so comfortable and with a little bit of luxury. Like a hotel, but with more privacy and space, and a lovely neat little kitchen. It was a treat to stay - it’s a great base to explore Newcastle - we stayed for 5 nights here (then had a couple of nights at Dylan’s other cottage up the Northumberland coast at Seahouses). While at Docker’s Digs we just hopped on and off the bus into the city centre, about 10 minutes. Loved the decor - the double bedroom is so quiet and the bed really comfy. The attic living room is a bit special, though. Really unusual bits of furniture and art on the walls - so cozy, great flatscreen TV, and great views of the lit-up church and the hills beyond at night. Nice park nearby for walks too - will definitely be back.
