Love love love this Italian restaurant. The staff are soooo friendly and welcoming. Food is cooked to perfection and it's quick to the table. Great selection on the menu and specials board and nothing over priced.

My advice is go, try it yourself. You'll love it xxx

The staff were disgusting in this restaurant I feel that strong about it that I'm also contacting the local papers . My husband and I were enjoying are bottle of wine when the female member of staff came to take our order we asked can we just order our starter please as we weren't sure what we wanted for are mains and didn't really want to rush are food. The female member of staff told us we had to order both starter and mains together. My husband then said ah that's ok we,ll just finish our wine and skip are meals , she then grab our bottle and glasses of wine away from us and said just get out as we were leaving quite shock at how we were being spoken to. She then went to call my husband a F’####g k##b !! A couldn't believe what was coming out of her month and there was also children in the restaurant . We eat out in newcastle quite often and would never set foot in this restaurant ever again. You could never take your children here unless you don't mine staff swearing at customers if they don't want to be rushed.

There is little to say regards the person who wrote this, they visited Sunday evening, WE DO NOT like people who are worse for wear with alcohol as this guy was so much so he couldent even find the chair to sit down so when asked to leave because of this, as the lady said there were children in the restaurant he was actually to drunk to speak his wife however gave our customers a good talking too. We are a very child friendly place and children are allowed in dueing all of our opening times so we feel we have a duty to not only them but also our other dinners who enjoy a meal out. Maybe as you said to your husband before you opened the menus 'we should have just went home'

We tried this hidden gem on a terrible rainy night in Newcastle before heading off to the Mill Volvo tyne theatre to see Sarah Millican and were immediately felt welcome and a table for two with plenty of space for private conversation and intimacy, but still being much apart of the atmosphere with an open kitchen where you see the busy chefs and kitchen team , the menu was the best choice I've seen for an Italians and was difficult to choose however we will return many times to work our way through it I dare say in the future , iam a big fan of carbonara and this was absolutely perfect the best I've had for a long long time to which I thanked the chef himself personally ,and with drinks and starters and garlic bread and 2xmain courses and desserts for £32 so do not miss this gem of a restaurant down pudding chare newcastles Bigg Market , And to all the hard working staff including the kitchen team keep up the brilliant work cheers Ken
