Stopped in after our Victoria Tunnel tour. Delicious Bacon Leek soup and Chicken and mushroom pie. Casual atmosphere.

“Limited drink selection ”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

I do like this place for a catch up with friends. It always has a good atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. The only down side is the range or drinks available and the price. £4.75 for a pint of pironi was a bit steep.

Nevertheless I would and will return

How can something be dry and greasy ? This bit makes up 100 characters. I've avoided being rude and im still a few characters short.

“Gone downhill”
Reviewed 28 February 2014 via mobile

The burgers here used to be above average with good chips. Have just been today and all of us were disappointed. Dry greasy burgers in a very standard white roll with a limp lettuce leaf and tiny bit of tomato. Chips were cold and tasted greasy. Has definitely gone downhill and there are far better burgers to be had in newcastle.
