“Good Food”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

My husband and I visited this restaurant after winning a 3 course meal there. We are not ones for visiting casinos but were told that the food was very good. We visited at the weekend and were not disappointed, we went with my cousin and her husband and were not disappointed. When we walked into the casino we walked to the far end where the restaurant was located, there was nice background music and you did not hear any noise from the casino which I was very suprised about with everything being open. The restaurant was lit nicely and there was plenty room around so that you did not feel like you were sitting on top of anyone. We all ordered steaks and were all cooked to how we wanted. The service was very good and the staff very happy and helpful with any questions we had. The best bit was the chocolate brownie, it was delicious with bits of willie wonka bars in it. I have never had a willie wonka bar before so it was a nice twist to the desert. The price was very reasonable and we were lucky as there was an offer on so we got 33% off our bill for overall. They do have specials on 2 and 3 course meals which are very reasonable, I think 2 course meal was £9.95 or there abouts which I think is very reasonable for a nice atmosphere and a very enjoyable evening. You do not have to be a member to got to the casino, you basically walk through the door. You are not obliged to bet but if you desire and are lucky it could be a very good night.

I have eaten all over the world and whilst the food was not the best ive eaten it was up there.myself and fourteen family members who are not the easiest to please! ate here.We all remarked on the excellent friendly service and the amazing food and Gavin was charming and attentitive. What made it extra special was that we did not feel rushed unlike other restaurants and throughly enjoyed our dinning experience. There was a hiccup with our dessert order but Gavin addressed this to our satisfaction and we left feeling happy and content.

Went for a xmas night out with work friends. We could of booked between thursday/ saturday night we choose a Saturday, £25 for a 3 course meal a £5 free bet, a complimentary drink voucher per person and on arrival had another free drink. I had for starter the chicken liver pa`te with a crusty bread which was lovely then the salmon en croute with veg which was very very nice, then the xmas pudding which was just enough I couldnt eat another thing. Others had the steak which they said was to die for and cheese cake or cheese and biscuits and grapes. We couldnt of ask for better the young waitress was always there when we needed more drinks. We all just used are free bet as where not really gambling people. We would definitely go again for a meal nice place.

“The worst service I have ever experienced”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

I visited this place on a Xmas evening out with about 40 other people in the party. The restaurant itself was fine and we arrived for a 8.30pm sitting with a glass of champagne. The first course arrived at about 9.30pm and then the next course which in my case was only burger and chips as the menu choice for this occasion was very poor took about another hour to be served. The final course of the sweets just did not turn up and people had to leave as they had taxi`s booked to go home and we stayed until 11.30pm and then had to leave without being served the sweet course of chocolate fudge cake. Several people complained during the evening but it did not seem to make any difference. The cost per head of £25.00 was a joke !!
