Nice hotel just 12 minutes walk to center of the city. This is not an ordinary hotel, it's an apartment with all you need. Nice helpful staff, very clean place, good breakfast included in your room price. Also a wifi free that works ok.

What an excellent place to stay. It is like home away from home. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated only minutes away from the Quayside and great eateries and entertainment. Or you have the opportunity to carter for yourself with a supermarket just a few minutes walk away. For longer stays there is laundry facilities without the high charges of a hotel. The manager's get together is a brilliant idea to ensure that everyone's needs are being meet. I will be certainly looking for a Staybridge Hotel to stay at next time I travel

Great, large rooms. Location is a bit out of the way with minimalist eating facilities, but a quick walk down to the Tyne you will find good bars and restaurant.

I'm a regular work traveller to the North-east and after having tried and tested numerous locations, this is the one for me. The staff are really friendly, there's free food+drink during evening social hour and even a small gym room. Its near enough to walk into the Toon, but far enough away to allow a good nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Higher up floors are quieter

I am a Priority Club Platinum Member so received a free automatic upgrade. I also paid for my stay with points therefore cant comment on price or the standard rooms. However my experience of this hotel as a frequent traveller is one of which I hope more hotels adopt.

The room was split into 2 living areas; the first was the lounge and kitchen. Both well and thoughtfully put together. The second room, was the bedroom with a kingsized bed and its own separate TV. Bathroom was standard IHC style.

Well thought out for a business traveller (if I was in this case). TVs had hookup points for laptops so if like me and your on a business trip and want to play BBC iPlayer for example, you can connect your laptop to the TV providing you have brought the correct cable. Similarly you can plug on your smartphone to play your music.

A few reviews on here have commented on the distance to the city centre. Personalty I would say it was a short walk though it is not a city centre hotel. Quayside is closer with lots of restaurants close by.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that is facing South so you are not overlooking the carpark or student accommodation. Worth the upgrade if staying for a period of time.
