We have recently come back from
A stag weekend in Newcastle and part of the group decided they wanted an Indian on Saturday night so found this place on line.
After Google told us it was 1.5 miles from the hotel and walking around 3 miles to get there (still not sure if this was the fault of google maps or the navigator) we arrived weary from our walk and wet from the rain. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and given the booth that we had been allocated for the meal
Of course we started with beers but the service was quick and selection was great so shortly we had our starters presented to us which were a taste sensation.
Happy with the meal so far we were excited for our mains which certainly did not disappoint in terms of portion size or taste. (I have never seen a naan bread as big as the one we got)
Stuffed and now well equipped with stomach lining for the rest of our night we got the bill and we're all pleasantly surprised at what it came into as a couple of beers each, poppadoms, starters, main course, rice, breads per person came in under £25 each which in our view was a bargain for what we had had
Next time I'm in Newcastle this place is definitely on my list to return to
Thanks to everyone in the restaurant
