1st time at luigikhans but it wont be the last ! If you read my other reviews its fairly obvious i like Indians and Sajis is my favourite now im torn, l/khans is a tad hard to find but really worth the effort the decor is kind of poshed up recycled look that works the staff are very attentertive but the star of the show is the food the starters were ok but the main " lamb madras " was probably the best ive ever had. Really is a must try place if your within 20 miles of newcastle & as Arnie says I'll be back

I have made it a personal mission to find a great curry place in Newcastle, and having made my rounds for the past one year, I am happy to report that THIS PLACE is THE BEST!! The lamb biriyani is a must try and the curries were phenomenal. A great variety of curry options, served in good proportion. They definitely do not hold back on their ingredients, you can taste all the intended flavours. We were impressed by this place so much that we went twice this week! The biryani is a little pricier than other places BUT totally worth the extras spent. Service was great, even on a very busy Saturday night. Mr Habib, the waiter was extremely helpful and such a delight on both occasions, always with a smile no matter how petty our requests were. We are planning our next visit already!

It's rare for me to review a restaurant while still in it.. But boy' is luigikhans good!!
I had the most amazing, tasty and perfectly cooked mixed grill starter ever, followed by a lamb madras to die for ... Enough superlative for now..
If you are in Newcastle and fancy a real curry.. Consider yourself told..there is no finer..

Great food, huge portions....naan bread the size of duvets, balti great & staff quite happy to advise on taste & strength of dishes...don't be frightened to ask for help & doggy bag for left overs!!! ☺️

I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend and wish I'd been sooner. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I had a lamb and spinach balti and my girlfriend a chicken jalfrezi. Both were delicious, fresh tasting with tender meat in both. We will definitely be visiting again.
