“Good location-excellent facilities-friendliest of staff!”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

We have stayed at this Premier Inn several times whist visiting our son. Good location within easy walking distance of Quayside and City Centre.
Facilities and rooms consistent with Premier Inns and the staff are both helpful and friendly.
Good car parking facilities with a section undercover-manoeuvring when full quite a challenge.
Overall good value and a comfortable stay.

Room Tip: Try to avoid lower floor to the front as the traffic noise can be an issue.

Clean, friendly and quite a good location for all the amenities of the city. We would recommend it. We got a good deal by booking early. The beds are very comfortable - the hotel 'does what it says on the tin'!

This is a very nice hotel just by the quayside. The room was of average size but more than adequate for our needs, considering it only cost £29 per night it was really good value. It is very handy for some lovely eating place's and not to far from the city centre. I was very pleased with the hotel, the bed was really comfortable and the room very warm on a cold night. The staff were very friendly and gelpful and I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is ideally placed for a trip to the Quayside and Newcastle in general. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Quayside, but is a lot quieter and has a great car park. It is easy to walk down to the quayside and the walk is very pleasant especially in the evening when the bridges are all lit up nicely. The welcome is very friendly and the rooms were very quiet when we stayed on a Friday night. The only down side was a lot of hammering sounds on the Saturday morning, which presumably came from the development site next door, but to be honest they weren't that loud. Overall a great place to stay at a very reasonable price per room

Room Tip: We had rooms 207/208 which were at the end of the corridor and were really quiet and undisturbed by...

Stayed at premier inn on a Friday night and paid £50 for the room which was good value given that we got free parking included. The hotel is a little old and dated in public areas but rooms are still fine and have all usual Premier Inn offerings. The room was warm despite it being cold outside and there would building work across the road which woke us around 7.30am but overall the location is good and for the price we paid I was happy. I probably would avoid summer months due to the heat issue
