This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The rooms were grimmy and dirty and the breakfast was un-eatable. The hotel is used for a lot of stag and hen parties so expect to be kept awake into the earlyt morning, the website pictures show it looking posh, but it an illusion and good marketing.

If you like camping you'll love Whites Hotel...

If you really like camping, book in at a campsite...

The least you would expect from any hotel is to have a bed to sleep in - unfortunately you may end up sleeping on a camp-bed without warning.

    Did I care? Yes...

Did the hotel staff care? No, of course not...

Save your money. Buy a Tent.

Me and a mate paid less than £60 for the room, what can you expect when your only paying that much. The room was clean and a decent size, bathroom was nice, basic but adequate. the bar downstairs was nice with cheap drinks and good music. all staff were friendly. the hotel is a bit shabby and noisey till early hours of the morning but that wasnt a problem really. a perfectly fine place to sleep after a night out in newcastle, but look for somewhere else if your wanting a nice weekend away.

By far, the absolute worst hotel we stayed in during our 14 day trip throughout the UK. There was a small drip of water in the shower so my husband nor I could shower. Tthe hotel was older and very noisy.

We're a young couple, in town for the Newcastle/Tottenham match and will never recommend nor stay in this hotel again. I can't believe Newcastle United would recommend this property for its fans!

I booked two nights at White's because it looked great on their website - shame they spent all their cash on marketing and not on improving their flea-pit of a hotel. The reception areas and corridors are really tatty and look just like a cheap hostel. The room was small and grotty - the carpets and bedding badly needed updating, and the bathroom was horrible, with a shower that flooded every time it was turned on. On my first night I was woken up at 4am by a fight outside my room, and on the second night by a fire alarm at 3am!
