Fab location, comfortable, clean rooms with gushing hot water. Staff are extremely attentive. Public areas are quite decadent and the feel is a superior hotel. To include car parking in the city centre is a bonus.

Room Tip: Can be noisy if facing Livello

Fab service and wonderful tea. So professional and curious staff made such a change. The tea was delicious. Crisp white tablecloth and all the tea we could drink with a nice glass of bubbly to start. Def recommend

Had a good stay for one night at the vermont. We got a half price deal... If we had paid full price i would have been a little miffed as the room had 2 double beds in which was odd...the reception staff werent rude but they werent especially helpful/didnt look like they wanted to be there. The decor is a bit dated which makes it look a bit shabby.... All in all it was clean and nice for one night but wouldnt visit again and pay full price when there are loads of other nicer hotels in newcastle.

We stayed for one Sunday night and were very pleasantly surprised. There was an offer on and the room was around half price but it would still have been great at the usual price. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and room was nice. Breakfast was excellent and the location is great. Recommended.

Visited Newcastle for my wife's fiftieth birthday and from the reviews liked the look of the Vermont.
We were not disappointed one bit with our stay.
Breakfast was very good with service to match. There is a very pleasant bar for that drink before you venture out a night.
The location was ideal, being very close to the city centre, yet out of the way from crowds and noise, with parking to go with it.
Only down side was the decor, which although okay, needs updating and I believe was being planned to be done.
If you get the chance, ask to see the roof top area, which has fantastic views.
I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay there again..

Yes the railway is noisey and the room gets hot. The thing nobody mentions is the bells on the hour and half hour from the church. Not the hotels fault and beyond their control.
The room has a fan to help keep it cool, air con would be better but for most of the year would not be required. The room was very nice, clean and bright. Bathroom was good with plenty hot water day and night. The staff are great, very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was first class. Plenty of choice and all good quality. We did not eat in the resturant but did have a bar meal which was very good and plenty of it.
We will be back. The hotels position makes it ideal for all of the local shopping and sightseing. Treat yourself to an great experiance and stay at the Vermont.

Room Tip: Away from the railway might be quieter.

Great city centre hotel with good access to the quayside and handy parking. Rooms are clean and tidy with good facilities. Staff are helpful and friendly and I will definitely use again.
Sky bar looks good but was not open during my stay.
