walked around downtown Newcastle. Parking was a little difficult to find. the area for the stores was nice to walk & peruse, but sadly, we couldn't find any unique souvenirs. but a nice walk in January - sunny & brisk.

£8 for this, its worth it.
If you go on the top of the bus, wrap up well. It makes you look at the buildings in a different light, not just walk past them , with the history being told to you about certain ones. Newcastle isn't just a good place for hen nights shopping.. The bus tour points this out .

The tour costs £8 per person and is valid for 24 hours to hop on and hop off during the day. The buses do not run late into the afternoon/evening and it is not a very long tour, but it offers all the information you need and the commentary is interesting and enjoyable. I felt like I had learned quite a bit of new information from being on this tour and there are some lovely locations to get off the bus and enjoy a walk around, especially around the Quayside. Newcastle really is a lovely place and well worth going on the tour to find out more about it.

LOVED the scenery ,enjoyed the commentary which gave a little bit of history and also local knowledge. The buildings from the top of the bus look spectacular…great views of the river and bridges.

Only had 1 afternoon in Newcastle so we thought we'd take a tour bus around as it was our first time there! It was really handy, we saw most of Newcastle and Gateshead's main attractions by doing the bus tour, and the hop-on hop-off meant we could pin-point where we wanted to visit using the bus as convenient transport between attractions. We did everything we wanted to in Newcastle in one afternoon, and that's all thanks to this really useful bus tour!
