Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre (New Bridge Street) Hotel

Stayed overnight for stop over on a long drive. 4 generations, in 2 rooms, including a baby. The staff could not have been more helpful, in particular Alan, the duty manager. They helped with bags to the rooms, high chair in the restaurant, filling beakers. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent for all of us ranging in age from 74 to 1. A real eye opener as I normally stay in much more expensive hotels, but could not fault the service, food, or rooms. Will definitely use premier inn again.

Stayed in this hotel last night and would like to say what a friendly hotel it was, good customer sevice,as they say" service with a smile" would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Had a really good breakfast this morning and worth the money paid.

Agree with others that the external of this building is not great but inside was really nice, good comfortable beds so a good nights sleep was had.

will definatly use this hotel again when visiting Newcastle.

Stayed for 2 nights at discounted rates because of promotion. Had 2 rooms for 3 persons because family room was unavailable. About 15 minutes walk from central train station, not too hard to find if you have a map. Outside not impressive but standard clean and comfortable rooms (especially beddings) like all Premier Inns. Just a stroll to pedestrianised street mall at Northumberland Rd and nearby large modern shopping centres. 10 minutes walk to Newcastle University. The town is so compact we just walked everywhere. 10 minutes walk to Quayside next to river. Will stay again for its superb location and great promotional rates.

Room Tip: I stayed on 3rd floor-no view overlooked some roof structures. A higher floor may be better.

A party of 4 of us stayed in this premier inn for a weekend break, i have to say that all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was very good and we even stayed in the restaurant for a 3 course meal one evening. the restaurant manager (James) was very helpful, so too were Vickie and another lady, fantastic sense of humour (involving profiteroles) and made our stay very enjoyable. I would definately reccomend a stay here. The staff deserve a massive well done.

It looks awful from outside and it doesn't appear to be in a good location. Once inside it is fine with friendly, honest staff. We were put onto the 'quiet' floor and told that one side of the hotel might have noise from the nightclub. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a good nights sleep so can't ask for more than that. The location was excellent as well.

Stayed here Friday night, upon arrival first impressions not good, it's not an attractive building and the car park seemed a bit old and shoddy too, once you enter the hotel itself it's fine though, clean, very helpful reception staff who advised they had a 'quiet' floor and then were honest enough to suggest one side of the hotel might have nightclub noise and one side road noise (we chose the road side!) and it was fine, very quiet all night despite it being a weekend. The room itself was comfy and exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn, can't complain, recommended if you need somewhere in the centre to stay.

Room Tip: Choose the 4th floor if you want a quiet night

Stayed one Wednesday night.
As the name says this hotel is very central to all the Newcastle attractions.
Reception staff friendly and informative giving a quick check in.
Room just big enough with the two single beds.Bathroom well featured. All very clean.
Being on a higher floor there was very little outside noise, though may be different at weekends!
An excellent meal deal was available - three course evening meal, drink and breakfast.
There was a good choice of food and the breakfast was of the highest quality.
The restaurant staff were the friendliest I've come across for many years in a busy hotel - well done.
Would definitely use this hotel again.

Room Tip: ?the higher the better and perhaps the rooms at the back would be preferable at weekends.
