Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre (New Bridge Street) Hotel
Reviewed 2 November 2012

Spent a couple of nights in this Hotel as part of the Premier Inn Special Room Rate Deals and must congratulate the extremely friendly and courteous staff at this hotel. Our stay was excellent, great value for money and in the ideal location to explore Newcastle City Centre and surrounding district. The metro and train Station are very close if you want to explore further afield. Excellent value for money and would recommend anyone to stay there.

This is our second stay at this premier inn :) very clean, staff helpful and cheery, breakfast is great and location is good to all the shopping centres within Newcastle. Only problem was that we never had toilet roll in the toilet but when mentioning this to reception, housekeeper came up straight away with a roll and an apology :) I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Have stayed here twice now, most recent being a few days ago. Great location for the town center - only a few minutes walk and you're in the main shopping area, bars and restaurants a-plenty!
The hotel itself is starting to show a few signs of wear and tear, though by no means is it grotty or in need of a major refit.
The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, although there was a bit of a Mary Celeste moment in the bar a couple of times where none could be found!
There is a multi-story car-park right next door to the hotel and you can buy passes from the front desk to put on your dashboard (£6 all day at the time of writing).
Staying during the week, meant it was quieter in the hotel at night though to be fair the first time we stayed was a weekend and even then we didn't get disturbed by late night revellers returning.
All in all this a well placed and comfortable hotel if you want a night or two in Newcastle at a reasonable rate, with all the usual Premier facilites - bar, restaurant and Costa.

I found this Premier to be very good. It was only 5 minutes walk from the station. The welcome was freindly and warm and my in house meal at night was excellent value for money. If you want to eat out or go out for a drink it is very centrally located. The only disconserting thing was to find a decorated Christmas tree at reception at the begining of October.

Had a lovely time here as we went to see Katie Melua & this Premier in was the closest to the Sage arena. The ladies in reception were great, especially Susan as she gave us directions over the phone. All the staff seemed friendly & helpful, nothing too much trouble.
