Almost on the Quayside. Stayed there with other family members to visit our daughter at Newcastle University. No problems. Clean room .Friendly helpful staff. Basic buffet breakfast. Good for the price. Parking in garage behind hotel £5 for 24 hours. I would stay here again.

My clients booked me in here. Many of the reviews were terrifying. What a huge pleasant surprise, The hotel has been refurbished, It is still only a Travelodge. However all communal areas are clean and bright. The staff are well trained and courteous. The room was sparse yet clean and spacious and very well maintained during my stay. 5 nights for just over £250??? Fabulous value for money. I had no trouble with "noise" but I can understand if it may occasional be a problem, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Room 34 Bottom floor no one on one side!!!

20 of us went for a hen party great atmosphere as it was full of hen and stag party's but rooms very basic beds not very comfy and - towel to share between 3 adults if we where not on a hen party I would of found somewhere else to say if I was down with my family. Breakfast very basic it was all you can eat served on a hot plate scrambled egg had no flavour bacon very well done sausage was excellent and fresh tomatoes with the other cold stuff if I knew the area I would of gone else where.

The travelodge is right on the quayside very near to all the bus routes there is a shuttle bus to travel up and down the many bridges and its about 15 minutes from Newcastle Central Train Station theres a tesco local round the corner of the travelodge which is very handy for all attractions.

The travelodge is very clean lovely big room the reception is decorated nicely the staff was very friendly and helpful would very much recommend to anyone

I stayed at this Travelodge on Monday 7th for a gig at the 02 Academy.

Staff were all friendly, welcoming and have been trained well. The room was spotless and beds were very comfy.

Not much to say really, everything was good. Breakfast was a reasonable price and all you can eat. However, black pudding would of made it better.

If I go to another gig in Newcastle I will be stopping here.

Big improvement since the last time I visited. New decor, bigger comfier beds, so much cleaner in the rooms and just a nicer feel to it.

Bathroom was improved, clean and bright, clean towels and a good hot shower.

Reception staff were pleasant and friendly. Only let down was the time in took to check in. Both fast check in machines were switched off and there was only one receptionist on duty. It took a good 15 minutes to wait in the long queue. It was the same trying to order drinks at the bar, one members of staff trying to do everything. We'd planned to eat at the hotel but decided to go elsewhere rather than face another long wait at the Travelodge.
