Was very surprised about the quality of hotel. Recently modenised.
    Staff very helpful.
    lovely breakfast.
    perfect location.
would defeinately visit and stay here again, despite the hotel being full of ladies on hen nights, it was surprisingly quiet in the early hours.

ideal base for a group of lads on a golf holiday bar area clean and tidy drinks reasonable, didn`t try food so can`t comment. just like all travelodges really excellent value for money, only downside funny smell on stairwell

I have stayed at this place several times when I have visited newcastle and it's what you would expect from a travel lodge in a busy city great location but is always busy with stag and hen do's and parties but it's only a place to lay your head. Never had any trouble and always got great service. Would return anytime I'm back in Newcastle

Typical travelodge. Beds comfortable, but pillows too thick, and duvet only suitable for a cold winter's night in the Arctic. Definitely needed air conditioning - the lowly oscillating fan was not up to the job and the window only opened a few inches, though you couldn't keep it open all night as would be too noisy in the city centre.

The location was fantastic though, as gave easy access to attractions and the riverside itself. Breakfast was fair, but not as good as billed. Also, if you want croissant for breakfast, you have to order it in advance,

Fantastic staff who are happy to help with directions etc and good location. The Travelodge is a short walk away from the Quayside, follow this along and you are in the centre and all the shops. We had breakfast but I found this a little expensive was about £7 I think, all you can eat/drink so it’s great if you have a good appetite. We didn’t use the bar or café other than the breakfast but others seemed happy with it. Security man on the door who are friendly and to keep control of the hen/stags lol It’s a very busy Travelodge with lots of groups and couples. We had a fab weekend and would return.
