The hotel is very conviniently located for central Newcastle. Bus 33 stops almost outside the door and Metro Jesmond is 10 min away. However if you do not want to bother with public transport you can easily walk to Northumberland street which is Newcastle's main shopping street. It is a quiet place which is not the case on Osborne road, full of bars and pubs and many students enjoying the 2-for-the-price-of-one drinks. Breakfast is adequate and the place is clean. It has its own restaurant which we did not try as we are not fans of Persian food but apparently it is an award winning restaurant and it was full every night. Overal, quiet, clean and cheap place near Newcastle's centre.
