Visited on a wet Tuesday lunch time for the Newcastle restaurant week.
Lovely menu for £10 deep fried squid in semolina batter , came with rings and whole baby squid.
This was as delicious , next our main course of rump and hand cooked chips , the rump was melt in the mouth and was from ! A large joint of beef , the chips were hand cut and real potato .
You could also pay £ 5 for a famous cocktail and ice cream. The portion sizes are good and the waiter couldn't do enough . Great looking place a bit like an old fashioned diner .would definitely go back at night time .
