Great place for a quick lunch or early evening meal, a superb alternative to the corporate high street giants. Very friendly and accomodatiing service, in comfortable surroundings. A tasty menu offering just the right variety of meals, enough for a chef who cares to prepare at short notice. In a dozen or so visits I have never had a bad experience, highly recommended.

If you are in south gosforth and fancy brunch, I would strongly recommend giving the Thyme Square Cafe a try. Friendly and intimate, its a great place to get something to eat. The food there is lovely, freshly cooked and plenty of it! I would in particular recommend the blueberry pancakes or the eggy bread - both delicious.

This is a regular little haunt of ours for Sunday brunch, whether just the two of us or with the two boys after football. We usually opt for the English Breakfast and have never been disappointed. Everything is beautifully cooked, excellent quality ingredients and always served with a friendly smile and warm conversation. The same goes for the Sunday lunch and the portion sizes are always generous so it's reasonably priced for what you get. We would definitely recommend you give this little gem of a café a go.

Visited this Cafe today on the recommendation of a Friend and we are so glad we did. The Staff were excellent very friendly efficient and helpful and the food was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed a huge plateful of delicious steak pie with chunky chips veg and a delicious gravy and at a reasonable price too Coffee was great too and all in all we really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be returning for more. Well done to all the staff and thanks for making our lunch so enjoyable today in every way

We live just around the corner from this little gem, and have never visited, until today. We were not disappointed. The staff are super friendly, the kids had the breakfasts, the other half and I had Lamb and Rosemary pie. Easily the best pie I have ever had, plenty of meat, lovely veg and the portions were huge. The kids couldn't eat all their breakfasts but had a good go. We are definitely going back!
