“Great service and food.”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Come here a number of times over the past 10 years and never had anything but great service and food. Current prices are fantastic and on my most recent visit 2 of us dined with pizzas, starters and drinks for just over £15.
The food and staff is fantastic, would definitely recommend the Calzone.

“we did not just go there to use the toilet”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Its our 3rd visit, and the waiter remembered my drink as soon as I walked in,Vodka. The girlfriend had put on her trousers, inside out, so quickly dashed to the toilet. It was 1:30pm, and the dinners were thining out. We had the choice of tables. Service and food was great. The waiter had time to chat, as the place emptyed. we think it is a fun place, and will go back.

“Friendly, great service, good food”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

This Italian is a few paces from my son's flat so we have visited several times. The happy hour is always a cheap option, but it is a bargain at any time. The food is fresh and hot, the house wine good and the atmosphere always pleasant.

We arrived after 9.30 pm due to my son's evening graduation, the staff were prompt in their service and the food was delicious. The garlic bread is delicious and all the pasta dishes are good portions with that lovely authentic Italian taste.

The restaurant only takes cash, but you are always reminded of this upon entry and their is a cashpoint a few minutes away.

“True Italians”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

Went on a spur of the moment after visiting the Quayside market. Had just missed the happy hour but was happy to order from the main menu. Great service , was able to choose where we sat , and prompt order taken. Shared a garlic bread and potato skins to start....best EVER pizza dough I have eaten...light and moist....other pizza places should take note. Waiting staff were attentive but not intrusive, and kept us entertained with singing and banter.Mains to follow of lasagne which was delicious ...succulent red wine, tomato and herbs. Bill with drinks came to £20. Will be back soon !
