We had a lovely mothers day lunch at Watlings, today. The food was excellent, fresh, well-presented and very tasty: the jacket tuna, beetroot and horseradish sandwich was particulary good. We are regulars here (both as cyclists and shoppers) and big fans of the proper coffee, tea made with suki blends, and most especially the almost legendary cheese scones. Corbridge is a great place to visit at the weekend and this cafe is the perfect way to re-fuel.
