Great location, just 5 minutes from Central Station. Had a large superior room ( 418 ) on the 4th floor with panoramic views over the tyne bridge ( large floor to ceiling windows). The hotel was very modern and spotlessly clean. Loved the style of the hotel and the staff were very very friendly both in the Restaurant and Reception. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel which was delicious, all very fresh and everything you could think of or want for breakfast. We did not hear any noise at all whilst staying there (sat night and sun night ) We would definitely return to the hotel and plan to.( My son is at Newcastle University for 3 more years ) We did not eat at the restaurant other than breakfast but there is a very reasonable and varied menu.
All in all a very pleasant stay at Sleeperz, No complaints at all.
The one thing i will add is - there is plenty of room for a small table and chairs at the window - to avail of the view
THANKS

Room Tip: Book a superior room, the views are magnificent.

Travelled from London to compete in the Great North Run, so needed a hotel close
to the station and the race start. Sleeperz slotted in perfectly with our requirements.
Staff were excellent and very attentative, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Even opened early for breakfast on race day. Booked a superior room with a lovely
panoramic window. Cupboard and shelf space a bit minimalist, but OK for a long weekend.
Shower/wet room, was a bit on the small side, and the sliding semi opaque door would possibly
not suit some people, as the toilet is situated dead opposite, A chair would also have been a
useful addition. Will have no hesitation in returning.

Good value for money. The room had everything we needed, except comfortable pillows. Only stay in this hotel with someone you know very well, as the frosted door to the bathroom worked the opposite way around, in that when in the bathroom you couldn't see into the room but when in the room you can see your other on the loo! Funny for a couple who've been together for a couple of years but prob not early on or with mates. Super view of trains and the hills beyond the city from our large window only wish it had some way of opening to let in the air, although the air-con was very efficient.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Very clean & modern. Plenty of towels in en suite. Bed comfy enough & extra pillows in a pillow bag if needed. The bathroom was lovely & unusual. Only gripe I had was the noise at night. We could hear other toilets flushing, people flicking light switches & drunk people from the street whilst trying to sleep. I would go back but I would take ear plugs with me.

First of all I must say that this hotel is very clean, the staff are extremely helpful and the room has everything that you need. Personally I found the decor of this hotel soul-less, it has no character, it felt like staying in an Ikea showroom. The corridors to the rooms are decorated mainly in grey with large numbers painted on the doors, it felt like I was in a student accomodation block. Our room faced the front of the hotel which is on a very busy road, as I am a light sleeper I was woken at 3am to the revellers returning from various nightclubs and again at 6am to the traffic travelling along the road, the room has floor to ceiling windows but the double glazing would be more effective if it was thicker to keep the noise out, so I would take other peoples advise and ask for a high floor if you are a light sleeper.
We had a superior room which is just bigger, the furniture is very sparse, there is a small workstation for anyone wanting to plug in a laptop but there is only a modern stool to perch on so not great for a business person who may want to work in their room during the evening - could do with a proper chair in the room.
All in all this hotel offers a good standard of accomodaiton for a fair price but I prefer a good old fashioned type of hotel!

this hotel is lovely but our bed was anything but, it was so uncomfortable that I had to sleep on top of the quilt to lessen the uncomfortable springs in the mattress, not a pleasant night by any means. The breakfast was very good and and the whole place was really clean and the staff lovely and friendly, room was small though. Manager most obliging and offered to put us in the the top room with balcony on a future trip due to mattress problem.

Room Tip: Don't sleep in room 210 unless they've changed the mattress

We were in Newcastle for just one night and needed access to the train station. Sleeperz was not only close to the station but provided us with comfortable accommodations and friendly service. We arrived around noon. We ate a nice lunch in their restaurant and were even able to check into our room early. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was small, but clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: Our room was 502 - view onto train station parking.
