I stayed with my boyfriend in April 2013. We came to Newcastle for a match and this hotel was perfect. We booked the most basic room, which was quite small but perfectly formed. Bathroom had all the usual cosmetics, just a shower though. The location was excellent, a 2 min walk from the train station and 5 mins from the main shopping place. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that but had drinks and the staff were lovely.
