“Great Value for Money”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

Beautiful and trendy hotel to stay. Perfect location for everything Football grounds, City center, restaurants and Newcastle Main train station. Staff all were very friendly and ready to help. Rooms were bit noisy ( not fully insulated) Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel.

I've stayed here a number of times while on business trips in the North East of England, and always been impressed by the place. Good price for a great hotel, and fantastically located in Newcastle. What's more, there are a number of sushi restaurants close-by. Win!

Had a disappointing lunch in Newcastle at Café 21..., so decided to go the Hotel Indigo for drinks, near the railway station. Very very impressed with the service and atmosphere, will definitely eat there next time , absolutely nothing was a problem, service excellent, even though it was just a drink... they were more attentive for a drink than got for a meal .

We stayed here just for one night for my husbands birthday.
We checked in on a Saturday and there was a lively buzz about the place - quite a few people in the lobby and bar.
The check in staff were very friendly and helpful and we got to our room within a few minutes. I used to actually work in this building when it was an office and I requested a room where my desk used to be, this was duly noted and it was great albeit a little surreal to be sleeping pretty much in the same spot where I worked for a number of years.
We had drinks in the hotel bar before heading out (cocktails were very good, yes a little pricey but to be expected really), we didn't eat in MPW restaurant due to hearing a number of mixed reviews.
Rooms very modern and a few little touches to earn it's 4* rating however I did think there were a few minor issues - although clean, housekeeping could have been a little better, a few marks and scuffs here and there. The corridors were starting to show signs of wear and tear.
Overall a very nice 1 night stay, if I got a good deal I would return.

Located conveniently 2 minutes by foot from the Central Station, which is a 25 minute metro ride from the airport.

Staff was really friendly without being "over friendly". Check in was quick and efficient. Room was big enough for a weekend stay, it also contained a USB power outlet, ideal if you forgot the English AC socket adapter, as we did this time. I nice touch from the Indigo brand is the free mini bar.

Good buffet style breakfast in the hotel's restaurant on the ground floor. It was quite crowded in the Saturday morning, so we had to wait five minutes for a table. This wait was the only negative experience during our stay.

I will definitely stay here during my next visit to Newcastle because of its location and the wonderful smiling staff.

If you're in Newcastle on a Sunday, be sure not to miss the marked on Quayside.

We stayed here as a treat before Christmas. Really enjoyed it. Rooms exceptional and very different. Clean and very comfortable. The girl on the desk was extremely helpful and very friendly. Had dinner in Marco Pierre White's restaurant which is attached.

I stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip and it was an excellent hotel! My room was lovely and spacious (and the complimentary mini-fridge was an added bonus!) and very modern. Breakfast was also excellent, a broad range of choice and very yummy! Location of the hotel was perfect for a quick walk to the shops and the bars! I would 100% stay here again, absolutely delightful stay.
