My friends travelled to Newcastle to meet up for a few hours. One had not ever been down o the quayside before and was amazed at how ckean the water is and as we walked o to The Mimlenium bridge, he was was quite taken with the way all the bridges can be seen along out river. I found charm in tbe added seating atea which is not a money maki g busiess. Just a nice place to sit and look over the river to The Sage and The Baltic.
Your never aline on the quayside these days as there is so much going on. A man singing to the crowd, A beach vomplete with sand and deck chairs. It even has striped beach huts all brightly coloured. There are many eateries and bars aling the way and many people young and old having cocktails with family and friends. After a meal in a very nice Spanish Restaurant just off quayside, we said our farewells. Until the next time in our ever changing landscape. What a night, fun, friendly and fab. We all went home smiling.More
