I booked a table for 8 for a birthday meal. The restaurant is rather small and we were sat upstairs. As a group of 8 we weren't looking for intimacy at the table, we had plenty of room and were quite comfortable. The tables are quite close together and if you wanted an intimate romantic night for 2 I don't think this would be the place to achieve it. The lighting upstairs is rather dim and I did need a torch to see the menu properly. However, it is a nice light to sit and eat. Those were the only negative points and are really very minor. The food was excellent. Well cooked and delicious. The staff are incredibly polite and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for a city centre restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Thai meal. I would not say the restaurant/building has "kerb appeal". Please do not be put off, this restaurant is most definitely worth a try.
