The DOTR has an early bird special which is good value for money. It also has a banquet special for an extra couple of quid which is better value with more choice.
The four if us had a variety of meals and all were lovely (I had to taste theirs for review purposes!). I had a madras (my usual but slightly too tomatoey) the others had a pathia, biryani and bhuna. Well worth a visit.

“Always a lovely meal. ”

Value for money. Fantastic food.
Lovely clean setting with nice relaxed & fantastic service.
Been a lot as it's our local & we love it.
Only down side a bit to much sauce sometimes.
But with lots of rice & nan bread to mop it up it's fine.
For a belly busting meal - try the 3/4 cause mmmmmmmmmmm

In fact tonight I'm going to have a takeaway from there.

“Great food in an elegant setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

We enjoyed great food and service here. A little more expensive than elsewhere but a great food experience in an elegant environment, food is very well presented. The biryanis were quite mild. The bhuna and Sri Lanka quite spicy/hot. The butter chicken creamy and mild. All very tasty and a great evening. Unhurried and relaxed. Thank you.

“Great restaurant”

We often go there for a meal. The food and service are always excellent. A bit more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. The kids love the sweet selection after the meal. We'll be going again.

“Excellent ”

We eat here regularly, excellent for takeaways but restaurant is better, excellent attentive staff make you feel welcome and you never wait more than a few seconds for drinks ect if you need them ,takeaway seems busier than restaurant nowadays (probably with folk trying to save cash) but highly recommend a meal at the restaurant, great food and service and reasonably priced
