Beautiful little boutique hotel! Couldn't believe how mod con it was. In a central location, right next to the train station and not too far away from shops etc.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. No cooked breakfast but couldn't fault it for an 'apartment hotel'

Wonderful!!!

We stayed here for 1 night in a superior apartment. The apartment was located in the basement and was spacious with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. It was very good value and would have got 5 stars but for one or two little problems. The sound proofing was not great, you could hear people walking around upstairs and there was a constant noise of water which could have been from the heating system. The bathroom complimentary toiletries were miserly, we had one small tube of shower gel and of shampoo between two people. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable stay.

We have previously stayed at Roomzz in Leeds and love staying in apartments rather than hotel rooms. This is very plush and much nicer than the Leeds one. We were greeted straightaway on arrival and checked in quickly. The studio was large with lovely plush interior. The kitchen was great, the oven was excellent and spotless. There was no oven glove or dish cloth which was a bit annoying. There was a bedside alarm clock which went off each morning at 9, which was annoying and we couldnt work out how to de activate it. The bed was lovely and comfy and great to lie and watch the large tv on. The thing that let our stay down was the noise from the room above. They stomped for miles around their room. It started at 7am both days for a couple of hours and at night before bed. It was very noisy and i was unable to sleep through it. So whenever they were awake we had to be too. Not sure how they managed to walk so much in that space. The grab and go breakfast was ok and there was still some left prior to leaving on Sunday to take with us, but it is very basic. We usually stay at Staybridge apartments in Newcastle, and I think I would choose it above Roomzz, but I would stay here again if Staybridge was full.

We booked this place on the back of the Trip Advisor high grades. Trust me that I would not award 5 stars unless it was merited if anything I was looking for reasons not to.

Check in was quick, easy and provided with a smile. The smile was shared by every member of staff throughout our stay.

We booked the Penthouse Suite which was huge, light, modern and fitted with every comfort you could need. We felt like Royalty in there. The location was perfect sitting between the Quayside and the city centre. We put our car in the train station car park long stay which cost £30 for 3 days. We could access everything on foot. The study with imac included was a great touch. We played our tunes and updated our social media feeds (cos thats what we like) on the imac and with 2 flatscreen tvs in the lounge and bedroom of our suite we relaxed quickly and easily

The only negatives would be the view which unless you are a train buff means you cant see too many pretty sights. I feel the grab and grow greakfast could include a bit more variety but that will improve over time with more feedback.

Roomzzz is an excellent alternative to the traditional hotel and I believe is ideal for those who want a great base for a city or business break.

Came here with my husband for Valentines day and when we entered our room I couldn't believe how big and spacious it was WE HAD A KITCHEN! I remember saying to my husband ate you sure we got the right room its nicer than our old flat! The bed was sooo comfy the rooms were stunning! Staff were lovely even when I slept In and missed breakfast they made us up a pastery and fruit bag! THE ONLY thing that was missing that I do miss that other hotels do is a cooked breakfast! But you may start doing that in the future ! On the whole I simply cannot fault this hotel ! Will defenetly be returning and to the people reading this wanting to stay on Newcastle STAY AT ROOMZZZ!

My girlfriend and I stayed here on valentines day, Apartments open planned and very nicely decorated. I would definitely stay again. Staff very helpful we arrived early and left our stuff there and they put them in the room for us once it was ready. Only issue is car parking, no parking outside the apartments so you have to park in main car parks in centre which will set you back.

Stayed for one night on 07/02/12 for my boyfriends birthday. We were both really looking foward to this stay after reading the reviews on here and we werent disappointed!
Even from walking up to the building you get a really good impression of the place. The staff were all really warm and friendly - the cleaner even got out the lift he was cleaning in the morning so we could have it to ourselves!
The room was amazing, we spent the whole trip saying we wished we lived there! Everything was spotless and clean, and the rooms were finished to a really high standard. We loved it all from the kitchen, to the bathroom and the alarm clock iphone dock!
We were on the top floor and the high ceilings and skylight windows were such a lovely touch. The windows were open when we walked in but the room was still so warm and homely, and the room stayed warm throughout our stay, was almost like being abroad.
Being close to the rail line was not an issue for us, we could hear the trains slowing down into newcastle with the window open, and could only slightly hear them with them shut, but it wasnt noticeable at all, I actually quite liked the reminder from time to time that I was in the middle of a city. Other than the trains, we couldnt hear a single noise from any other rooms and it almost felt like we were the only people in the entire hotel the whole time.
The grab and go breakfast could have more choice , but for the price we couldnt grumble with some free croissants and orange juice to take back to our room.
We loved it so much were looking to stay in other roomzzz hotels in the UK, and would recommend it to anyone.
