A really lovely Apartment/Hotel within a 5 min walk to all you would want to do/see in newcastle.
This small apartment hotel is new and well kept very close to all attractions in Newcastle - Really well trained and friendly staff who really do go out to help and make your stay a good one. We were staying with a 9 nth old baby in a one bedroomed room. Roomzzz has all you need to make a stay with a small child rurally good. Full kitchen and large rooms (easy to get the pram in and out of) - the front steps are a bit of a pain (no ramp) - but the staff help you get anything down the stairs so it really was not an issue.
Rooms very clean and well kept - slight small of damp and I'm not sure if this is due to the showers in the rooms or ventilation (again, not a big issue just a small point)
The biggest issue we had was the noise - not the train tracks which can be heard on occasion but not a bad noise and trains are prob on average 40 minutes we didn't find this an issue - the noise was because the walls and ceilings were not well insulated. This meant you could hear footsteps and other hotel noises with ease - especially from the gallery style rooms which echo around. Annoying late at night but would not putts off from coming. The sad things is this could have been sorted out when the hotel was built.

We really enjoyed our stay - the staff really made this place feel like home. The rooms are really nice and a great size - i would recommend for families. Parking can be an issue depending on your travel plans. I would check local multi-story car parks as the outside parking is limited to 2 hours. Just plan your parking and you will be fine.

Would return, great find and lovely location. Cannot praise the people working here enough from the cleaners to the front of house they made this a stay to remember.

My wife and I had a room booked for us here by my boss (thanks Ajay!) so that we wouldn't have to drive home after the work's Christmas party.

We found Roomzzz Newcastle easily, just behind the Central Station, and were greeted warmly and with enthusiasm by the receptionist even though it was late at night (reception is manned 24 hours) and given the keys to our room and also recommended to take a cup of Hot Chocolate from the free top-notch coffer maker in the lobby.

Our room was on two levels and gorgeously furnished and decorated, with the lounge area, dining area and kitchen on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom in the basement; it was quite quirky, but worked really well :-)

The bed was REALLY comfortable and I wished that we'd paid the extra tenner to get the 1300 check-out option, but never mind, we'll know for next time, as we'll definitely be back!

I have seen some reviews state that the close-by railway causes some noise, but our apartment (the Liberty Suite) was very very quiet, so you might want to take this into account when you book :-)

Though options for breakfast were limited to coffee and pastries, the lobby area had a wide array of snacks and things such as pizzas and other stuff that you could take back to cook in your room, which is a great idea.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roomzzz in Newcastle, and having compared it to another apartment hotel we've stayed at in Newcastle on a few occasions, Roomzzz wins hands-down, so we'll definitely be back :-)

P.S. The Hot Chocolate lived up to its recommendations - it was delicious!

Room Tip: The Liberty Suite was great for two, with room to have friends round for dinner and to watch a movie...

I stayed at roomzzz 4th-7th december (3 nights) with my boyfriend. We travelled from liverpool to newcastle as I have family here and we wanted to do a bit of christmas shopping too. I chose this aparthotel as we prefer apartments to hotels when we travel, also at £215 for 3 nights it was excellent value for money and a lot cheaper than most of the hotels. We arrived at 2pm and dispite check in not being until 3, the lady let us into our room (liberty suite 204) we were amazed at the amount of space within the apartment and it was very cosy and had great facilities.

Roomzzz has underfloor heating and I found this a great plus, others have mentioned its too hot. Yes it does get hot but not so that you can't sleep etc.. I was also a little worried about being so close to the train station as other reviewers have said about the noise of trains & announcements. However we didn't hear anything at all while we were there. Although we went out most of each day, of a night we slept without any bother at all and I am a very light sleeper.

I think the grab and go breakfast is a brilliant idea, its clearly advertised on the website and as you check in you are told about it, people that want a full english obviously know what they are getting, there is nothing to complain about in my opinion.

I found all the staff very welcoming and helpful when we asked about the city and would 100% return to roomzzz in the future. Highly recommended

I booked here to treat my boyfriend to a weekend away. We arrived Friday about 15.00 and our room was available. I loved the modern look and feel of the place, the staff where extremely helpful at all times. It was a bit pricey but worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate in booking again. Loved it!!

Me and my partner booked a weekend here in one of the Liberty Suites. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station which is great. We ended up in room 001 which is in the basement but don't let the thought put you off. The room was extremely spacious, the under floor heating is amazing when you walk in from a cold November day. The staff were all extremely polite, upbeat and friendly, no matter what time of day you saw them. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout! Will definitely be booking in here sometime in the future!

Roomzz has great location within walking of distance of the station and 5 mins from the Quayside down the steps. We were in the basement which was a very spacious, quiet room with good facilities although there was no full length mirror in the room which was odd as there was plenty of space to put it ! Big bathroom with great shower. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Only thing which felt could be better was' grab and go' breakfast. Could have had butter portion for the croissant and also cartons of proper orange juice instead of very sweet tropical drink.
