The chef (Paulo) previously worked at the Baltic. His passion for food comes alive when making one of his specials. If you don't see a specials menu, you MUST ask if they have any. I once had fresh mackerel that was amazing. The taste, presentation, attention to detail on the plate was inspiring.
They also do standard jacket potatoes and sandwiches. The tuna in the jacket potatoes is healthier and tastier than most. There is no mayonnaise in the tuna, just some very finely chopped peppers, onions and flavour.
The place is consistently very clean.
