“See You Tomorrow Lunchtime”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

I usually walk through the Grainer Market during my lunch break at least 5 times a week and I occasionally wander down the fresh fish aisles (even if it is a bit smelly) but today there was a totally different smell that caught my attention and my taste buds and I just couldn’t resist joining the queue to try out the freshly cooked crab noodles, instead of my usual cheese savoury sandwich from Greggs. I took the noodle box back to work with me and ate it at my desk rather than stand at the fish counter on my own. It was still nice and hot and it tasted delicious, really delicious. I don’t know how long this stall has been on the go, I have never noticed it until today but I have got a feeling I am going to be a regular customer because I am already planning on going back tomorrow to try something else.

“Fresh, fast and great tasting”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

Visited this place on many occasions and it never disappoints. You see your food being cooked infront of you and often the seafood is from the main market stall so you know you are getting good, fresh ingredients. It tastes great and is a great meal.

“Great. Totally unmissable”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

What a superbly tasting example of fusion cuisine. All ingredients are extremely fresh (no other way to serve a dish inside a food market) and it reflects the cultural background of its main Chef, Paulo. Good quality seafood with the perfect hints of Asian, African & Portuguese spices and styles of cooking. It definitely reflects the multicultural life of Newcastle.
You can either buy the fresh fish from one of Lindsay's expert fishmongers and take it to Chef Paulo to cook it your way or just trust him to prepare you a meal from his own range of dishes.
Have been several times to this Restaurant-stand and recommend to anyone looking for a quick and unforgettable meal, either if you are having a break from work or visiting the city.
