We stayed visiting my son and his wife and had a brilliant stay. The hotel was very clean and quiet and the staff were freindly and went out of their way to help us. Particular mention to staff member Steve Lunt who sorted us out lovely rooms and couldn't have been more helpful, a true asset to the company

we stayed for 6 nights and found that overall it is quite good value for money. Minor niggles were, not enough towels for 2 people on arrival, no heating on in the room, required more coffee, milk etc. The room was very comfortable, service at reception as good as usual, as we have stayed here before. In the Beefeater (next door) we found Craig the waiter to be friendly and on the ball. We ordered fish and chips which were tasty enough, but had to ask the waitress for vinegar. Other restaurants we visit usually have these sort of thing organised. Overall very good. Breakfast is served in the same place with lots of choices. It had to be suggested that porridge was served hotter. Although the cooked breakfast may be cooked to order, the baked beans and mushrooms were always just warm. We had to ask for fresh coffee as it had gone cold on one occasion. An additional toaster would be a good idea.

From arriving to leaving the staff could not have been more helpfull. The room was immaculately clean as was the bathroom.

There is not a lot more I can add, it was simply that good.

We ate at the restaurant next door and again it was superb.

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and the eatery next door.

Good nights sleep great food and brilliant breakfast. Nice and quiet after a long journey. Great location just off motorway, you can't hear the traffic. With local co-op shop for some munchies. Plenty of parking spaces.

We stopped at Premier Inn Cramlington on the Friday and Saturday night before the Great North Run, and accommodation was in the usual style for Premier Inn, big comfy double bed, single bed and a pull out bed on floor (family room).it was very clean, and quite busy due to the GNR. Good size telly There was a Beefeater next door, and a McDonalds and petrol station opposite the hotel.

The reception staff were helpful, offering to book into the Beefeater in the evening, as it was quite busy.

It was about 8 miles to Silverlink/North Shields to the cinema/bowling etc and the usual chain restaurants which we used to keep the kids entertained…. Four Ways Metro (park & ride £1) we used and was about 4 miles down a single road for ease into Newcastle City Centre.
