Good location for our overnight stay as we headed north. The staff are welcoming as we have come to expect from Premier Inn.
We chose to go with the Beefeater meal deal, which was fairly good value for evening meal and breakfast for two people. I was hesitant about ordering the sirloin steak as some steaks are better than others, but the one I had was cooked perfectly! Very lean, tender and tasty; in fact one of the best steaks I've ever had!
My husband was less than happy that although the meal deal included a pint of beer he couldn't choose his preferred cask ale but was told that the deal only included keg beer - which was a shame.
The breakfast the following morning was very good with our order being taken at the table, together with the usual buffet extras. All the staff in the Beefeater restaurant were exceptionally friendly.
Our room was very clean and comfortable and parking was very handy.
This was our second stay at this Premier Inn and we would be more than happy to re-visit for a third time!
Myself and my husband stayed at this premier inn on a Friday to Sunday for just 2 nights, the room was very spacious, lovely, clean and comfortable.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, such lovely people, this was our first time staying in a premier inn and would definitely choose those again.
We paid for our breakfast for the 2 mornings which was served in the beefeater next door, which we were really pleased we decided to as it was a very nice, all you can eat with a good variety of food for everyone. The full English fry up was delicious!
Odd location. Older staff. Met by a receptionist who was a mix of false American bonhomie and geordie rudeness. The rooms are noisy and smelly. The food is really bad. Car parks ok though. I would go elsewhere, really anywhere else.
Paid internet is snail mail.
