I stayed at this hotel with my husband and grandchildren last summer when we visited family in the area. The staff were great especially in the restaurant, they were so friendly and helpful. We arrived early as we had flown up from Wales, we took our bags to leave at the hotel and they said thery would try and get a room ready as soon as possible and would ring us on our mobile, but if we wanted to purchase an extra breakfast we were welcome to, and at £7.99 all you can eat for adults and children eat free we decided to take them up on this offer. Then by 11.00 they had aroom ready for us, the staff couldn't do enough during our stay they hotel is old, but it was very clean with everything we needed for our stay, the children thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did we and for £39 a night for the room it was fantastic value. I would highly recommend this hotel its not too far from the centre of town but far enough away to be away from the noisy revellers on hen/stag nights etc. And is ideal for a nice stroll across the quayside of an evening.

Stayed here on business in mid-May and in brief the hotel provided a good clean room , friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Towels were a little on the thin side but for the price paid I couldn't really find anything significant to complain about. The local seagulls gave me an early wake up call, but I can't blame the hotel for that.

It was nicely situated on the Quayside and there are some decent eateries nearby, the hotel bar was reasonably priced unlike some other chains.

All in all if you are looking for clean accommodation at a fair price the Premier Inn Quayside fits the bill.

Nice clean budget hotel in a good location let down by one stroppy receptionist. Not the best way to start your stay by one of the receptionist throwing a strop and walking off because we hadn't sorted out who of the party of 8 was stopping in which room. Thank god the rest were not like her.

Went to see Toons v Man city. Pity about the result but a great experience to be with the worlds best supporters. This hotel was very adequate for my trip. The staff thte are really friendly, my room was clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and very central. Dont miss the Sunday morning market right opposite the hotel. Loads of restaurants nearby.
My one quibble was that the lift was not cleaned at all during my stay and was somewhat grubby.

Stopped 2 nights Bank Holiday Weekend with 2 of our 3 children. What can I say? Lovely building, fantastic location, great food in the restaurant and made even better by the fact the kids were under 16 so got breakfast free! Had a family room all the way up on the 5th floor (bit of a bugger lugging our luggage up the final flight of stairs due to the lift only going as far as floor 4 but hey ho! All in all, a very relaxing weekend for all concerned - would definately recommend it.

Room Tip: Family rooms are up on the 5th floor well away from "groups" so there's no chance of b...
