“Great deal”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

Paid only £35 for overnight stay on Friday 21st March-great deal. Hotel was in a great location for sightseeing and lots of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Shame we weren't allocated a room with a view, but because of where we were (right at the end if a corridor and not facing any roads) there were no
problems with noise which we really appreciated. Room was very clean and the bed has to be one if the best I've ever slept on! Overall enjoyable overnight stay and would definitely take up this sort of offer again.

Stayed here in Feb 2014 with a group of friends. The hotel has a great location and parking on side for £7. Staff were very friendly but they are quite strict on the 2pm check-in. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel which have a good atmosphere.

The rooms are very basic but clean and the beds are very comfy. We paid £30 for one nights stay and I have no complains. its within walking distance of the main night life and the shops, bars and restaurants.

This would be my choice for a cheap and cheerful weekend

Room Tip: prebook parking with the hotel

We were very happy with all staff we had any communication with but were very confused with the lifts we felt nothing to explain where they went and when we came out of one them to go out of the front door we were at the restaurant which we could not use to go out the front door very confusing and as the hotel was not busy we could not understand why we were put to the back of the hotel and very far along the corridor we are both senior citizens and finding our way in corridors was very confusing

Room Tip: Ask for a front room facing the quayside if you are going to be in your room at least you would hav...

Had a lovely stay at this premier inn - lovely staff, very comfy bed.
We had a view of the Tyne Bridge and the river which was great.
The only negative comment we have to make was with regard to the shower - the hot tap was broken and wouldn't turn off.

Parking available (at a price to be pre booked). Great location. Excellent bars and restaurants close by too.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Tyne!

very good service and staff, clean rooms, good food. Staff very helpful and attentive. I will consider using premier inn for any further city visits. Location close to the river good and access to city good.

I have been staying at this hotel for 6 months now, due to working in the area. I have stayed in all if the other Premier Inns in the Newcastle area and have found the Quayside to be best by far. All the staff from the reception to cleaning and restaurant members are fantastic and do a great job. I have come to know few quite well. It feels like home away from home. Whenever I am working in the area I would always stay here. I feel it would be unfair to name just one member of staff as they all do a fantastic job and are always courteous and happy to serve me. I do feel however that Jo In the restaurant deserves a special mention. But all staff that I see in a regular basis should be praised for making my stay here as good as it had been. So to James, Micheal, Jo, Jemima, Ashten, Peter, Steve, Lynne, Anouska, Loyal, Diane, Christina, Wendy, Wendy, Gary, David, Malcolm and John the hotel manager thank you very much. And a big thank you for what you did for my birthday. This is the only Premier Inn in Newcastle for me.

Fantastic location! You have a great view of the Tyne Bridge and only short walk to all the shops, restaurants, bars & clubs. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner & breakfast which was very nice.
