“Great stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2014

We booked three adjacent rooms for a party of friends staying for the weekend. Two had bridge and river views. They were all very comfortable and well equipped. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were on the 4th floor so did not hear any noise from the street or weekend revellers.

Room Tip: If you contact the hotel the night before, you can request a river view and the 4th floor is quiet.

This hotel is bang slap on the quayside, with the Tyne Bridge to the right and the Sage to the left - lovely views, would have been even better had the windows been clean!. Good size family room slept 4 easily - the big bed could have slept 3 or 4 little ones on its own! Good value all you can eat breakfast as usual. Parking is very limited, make sure you book a space (costs £7). That was the only downside, and I would certainly stay here again if I could book for £35.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Easy to find remember to book car parking space, but there where places arounx the hotel to park on a meter.Very close to the centre of Newcastle, great bars and restaurants close to hand. Right on the river , the views were fantastic. Bar and restaurant great place to sit. Excellent staff.

This hotel is in a great location next to the Tyne Bridge on Newcastle's Quayside. It is pretty much a standard Premier Inn (which are normally perfectly ok) so is ideal to crash out in after a night on the Toon.

Paid only £35 for overnight stay on Friday 21st March-great deal. Hotel was in a great location for sightseeing and lots of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Shame we weren't allocated a room with a view, but because of where we were (right at the end if a corridor and not facing any roads) there were no
problems with noise which we really appreciated. Room was very clean and the bed has to be one if the best I've ever slept on! Overall enjoyable overnight stay and would definitely take up this sort of offer again.

Stayed here in Feb 2014 with a group of friends. The hotel has a great location and parking on side for £7. Staff were very friendly but they are quite strict on the 2pm check-in. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel which have a good atmosphere.

The rooms are very basic but clean and the beds are very comfy. We paid £30 for one nights stay and I have no complains. its within walking distance of the main night life and the shops, bars and restaurants.

This would be my choice for a cheap and cheerful weekend

Room Tip: prebook parking with the hotel
