Premier Inn Newcastle Quayside

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great views of the Tyne bridge. Lovely porridge at breakfast (you have to ask for it). Nice area. Noisy outside on Saturday night but not really a problem if you're tired. Recommended!

Great location right on the Quayside.
Comfortable bed as always, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.
We didn't eat breakfast, so can't comment on the food.

A few things to be aware of.
1.The onsite car park soon fills up, but there are plenty of of other choices in the area.
2.If you want a lie-in, be aware that rubbish is emptied early in a morning and bottles smashing make a heck of a noise!!
3. On a Sunday there is restricted access to some of the roads round the hotel, due to their being a Sunday Market on the Quayside. The hotel warned us of this and it wasn't a huge problem to navigate.

We will most likely stay here again if we can get it for £29 per night.

The hotel was in a good location with easy access. The reception was brilliant. Rooms were clean & tidy. The lobby is warm & welcoming. There was plenty of nightlife only a few minutes away too.
Breakfast was great value! & all you can eat.
Checking out was minimal.

Good for location safe parking and comfy bed
Needed to pay for WiFi after 30 mins but reasonal considering cost of rooms
Which was very reasonable, stayed at end of a busy holiday and spent a long time in the comfy bed after attending excellent performance at the sage. Breakfast looked good but sleep too late!

Very good experience at this hotel. Staff very friendly & approachable, room was clean & comfortable and the bed was very comfy! Although the breakfast was a little expensive it was balanced out by the cheap room rate, overall beating our usual cost of an overnight stay with breakfast. Breakfast choice was excellent & food was good quality. A little disappointed with car park system

We booked three adjacent rooms for a party of friends staying for the weekend. Two had bridge and river views. They were all very comfortable and well equipped. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were on the 4th floor so did not hear any noise from the street or weekend revellers.

Room Tip: If you contact the hotel the night before, you can request a river view and the 4th floor is quiet.
