“Nice hotel - shame about the noise”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Clean, friendly hotel but the noise from other residents was terrible, apparently the party hotel of the quay on a friday night. Terrible nights sleep from stag do staying at hotel which meant a really bad night sleep

We stay in hotels around the country about 3 nights a week, and we're recent converts to Premier Inn, but you know what? They are great value for money, they seem to recruit very friendly and helpful staff wherever they are located around the UK and they really do have comfy beds.
We weren't lucky enough to get parked at the hotel, but there are a few NCP car parks nearby.
There's a great wee restaurant just round the corner called the Quay Ingredient where you can get Eggs Benedict that are a,most as good as mine!! (She said tongue-in-cheek). It looks awful from the outside, but it's quite cute inside and the food is fab.

Stayed here with my wife on a Sunday in late March, for £29..... great value!!! We have stayed here before and love it. Nice comfortable rooms and great location. Nice friendly bar. Car parked on site for £7.50, so no hassle there. Had a good night out in town and back to a great nights sleep.........see you at Xmas, already booked, again at £29. Lovely friendly staff in Hotel and Bar.

We only spent one night at this Premier Inn, but it's not the first we have stayed in. They never let you down and 'do what they say on the tin' - great rooms at reasonable prices, with good food in the restaurant and wonderful friendly staff.

The staff at this Premier Inn were friendly, polite and helpful, the food is great and the rooms clean. Only downside is the small underground car park but there is other parking only a short walk away. The placement is superb with everything a relaxed walk away. A very old building sympathetically converted into a Premier Inn. Slight noise nuisance from the Kittiwakes outside the window but they shut up once it's dark !

stayed there over a weekend and had a good time some staff were very friendly while others should take note and learn from them ! i caught one standing outside my door listening into our conversation and when i challenged him he first denied it then when i told him i had watched him through the spyhole he said that there had been noises and complaints ! which was rubbish as i was able to hear his footsteps up the hallway and stop at our door so i would strongly disagree with his point !! the food was very good and location was ideal .
