Stayed for one night and could not fault the service or room. If you want a quiet hotel slightly out of the city centre this would be a good choice, We both enjoyed our stay very much.

We had been given vouchers for a stay at Jesmond Dene House as a wedding present. The House had an offer on over Easter week end and we had a two night package which consisted of two champagne breakfasts and a dinner included in the price. We were made very welcome from the moment we stepped through the doors. The chap on reception was helpful and welcoming. The room was very pleasant and spacious and the bathroom was fabulous. The restaurant is really lovely. Dinner was from the Market Menu, which without the package at £26 per head was very reasonable. Our waiter was extremly pleasant and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. There was some delicious home made bread and this was replenished frequently, much to my husband's delight! Service was excellent. Breakfast was amazing with an excellent buffet selection including smoked salmon, range of cooked meats and cheeses together with poached pears, fresh fruit, etc as well as cooked breakfasts. Champagne was available. As an extra we had a champagne afternoon tea on the Sunday which was well worth the cost.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 21 which was excellent.

A small luxurious hotel on the outskirts of Newcastle. The welcome was friendly and we were shown to our beautiful bedroom on the ground floor overlooking woodland. The room was extremely comfortable with all of the facilities you would expect in a hotel of this standard. The bathroom had a heated floor and gorgeous locally made soap and toiletries. We didn't have dinner but the breakfast in the morning was lovely with excellent service from the staff.
Overall had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in a 5 star setting.

I was lucky enough to stay in the Jesmond Dene House for a birthday treat from my sister and husband who came along with my partner and i.We arrived on the sunday afternoon and enjoyed drinks on the lawn in the sunshine and checked into our beautiful rooms. The attention to detail was second to none and the service was impeccable. It was hard to imagine we were minutes away from the city centre as it was so quiet and felt we were in the heart of the countryside! We had a beautiful breakfast in the conservatory the following morning and unfortunately our stay had ended-I would definitely not hesitate to recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting the area or even if you are closer by for a special treat!

I recently attended my friends wedding, after which we all went to stay at Jesmond Dene House.
Every member of the wedding party was greeted with a glass of champagne, & those of us who were staying at the hotel, were taken to reception. At reception, I recieved an extremely friendly personalised welcome, they even took the time to enquire as to how the wedding ceremony had gone.
I was offered assistance with my luggage & escorted to my room.
The room itself was an attic room, with truly outstanding bathroom. Being a hot day the staff had taken the trouble to already open the windows in the room, so that the temperature inside was just right.
The wedding meal & evening party was a perfect with some truly outstanding food, served by some of the most helpful staff I have had the pleasure of meeting. Every person who dealt with us throughout the day was friendly, including the night staff who ensured that the residents like myself who werent quite ready for bed, were able to have a night cap or two!

Fantastic hotel for a special occasion - we had an excellent meal from the a la carte menu in the Restaurant, the salted caramel chocolate sphere is to die for! Reception, bar & restaurant are in the old house, however our bedroom was in the New House, very comfortable, well furnished and "boutique" in style. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is a real luxury! All the staff we met were particularly helpful and friendly, without being over familiar and helped add to the sense of occasion. Breakfast was good - plated service for the cooked English, buffet style for pastries, cold meats etc - a good selection. The coffee was perhaps the only slight let down - too strong, even with the pot of hot water that arrived promptly when requested. A walk in the beautiful Jesmond Dene before departing rounded off a perfect stay.
