This is a really good and quite pricey hotel, that is situated a few miles outside Newcastle City Centre. It's in tip-top condition, with two very cosy sitting rooms and a very swish dining room complex. We had a junior suite - excellent size-wise, huge comfy bed and big bathroom, proper sized TV, quality shampoos etc and great coffee making kit. On the downside, it was far too dark, bath towels are much smaller than you would expect and the bed sheet was far too small for the bed, made worse by the fact that the undersheet was undersized. Also there is no gym - a big disappointment. The really key point to make is wonderful food and great staff, notably in the extremely busy restaurant restaurant. Our bill for two nights including one dinner was about £750. We will return!
